I have a special interest in supporting late-identified Autistic and AuDHD adults to better understand their neurotype. I can assist you with understanding your unique sensory needs, executive functioning profile, and social communication style. We can also explore ways to reduce sources of difficulty and distress that may be exacerbated by experiences of masking, interpersonal invalidation, ableism, burnout, chronic illness, trauma, unmet sensory needs, or other imbalances in your work, family or personal life.

I offer evidence-based therapy for OCD drawing from both Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (I-CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I-CBT is a cognitive approach that focuses on untangling the reasoning processes that fuel obsessional doubt, helping you to notice when your mind has shifted away from direct sensory information into imagined possibilities. ERP involves gradually and collaboratively approaching feared situations while reducing compulsive responses.

My approach to treatment for trauma centres on Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is an evidence-based therapeutic approach originally developed to support people who have experienced traumatic or distressing events. EMDR uses forms of bilateral stimulation such as eye movements, sounds, or tactile input which are understood to help the brain process difficult memories and associated emotions. While EMDR was first developed for trauma-related concerns, it is now also used in a broader range of contexts where distressing memories or emotions are affecting wellbeing. During an EMDR processing session, the clinician supports the client to recall aspects of a distressing memory while engaging in bilateral stimulation, with the aim of promoting adaptive processing and integration of the experience.

I provide tailored 1:1 psychological support and capacity building strategies for self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. Sessions are collaborative, designed to help you to work towards your individual NDIS goals. At the completion of sessions or nearing your plan review, the NDIS may request an update regarding our progress and any recommendations for reasonable and necessary disability supports.

I offer neurodiversity-affirming autism assessments for adults aged 25 years +. My approach centres your lived experience using the MIGDAS-2 interview alongside additional executive functioning, sensory profiling and observational tools to explore your neurotype in a respectful and collaborative way. Each assessment includes a comprehensive report that reflects your unique profile and provides personalised recommendations to support your wellbeing and self-advocacy.
